I don't consider myself much of a photographer, but when a back to school contest was announced in one of my groups I considered entering it with something, didn't know what. When I saw the message people chose to convey in their submission to the contest I found myself a little saddened, and this image began coming to life for itself within my mind. I felt the need to construct this image.
The thing is, I enjoy school. I enjoy learning. I enjoy soaking up new information, expanding my understanding of the world I inhabit, and the people therein. I can not study full time, taking all the classes I so desire, due to chronic pain and fatigue issues, so I have to pick and choose. This year I am taking only three courses, English 302, Psychology 303, and Icelandic 102. So far I'm truly enjoying what I am learning.
I just wanted to point out that to some of us, school is a positive place, positive experience, something much loved.

It's just the truth - it is very beautiful! Even more so, as it doesn't have an artificial touch about it (as it might have had, if "old" books would have been used).
